Deed Progress

Progress on the deed is coming along VERY well. Club Code decided to run their very first Black Friday sale, so I picked up a year subscription for my Vynora priest along with some silver to make sure the deed has lots of upkeep (over a years worth on each of the deeds I currently own). Moumix has been playing again and has helped out around the deed, and that has inspired me to try to ‘complete’ it as much as I can.

Yesterday I reached 36 ropemaking, and I created one of two rope bridges that will adorn the village. I love the way they look. I need 44 ropemaking for the second bridge, and I have a few odds and ends to complete (a fence around the farm, the front farm will eventually be transformed into a shipyard as well as a chapel of some sort, and the house needs more furniture) but it is coming along nicely.

I’ve also started grinding hot food cooking – I want to unlock all of the recipes that look so delicious out there. I want to build a distillery in the mine, and create cider and wine, too. There’s just always so much to do in game, I absolutely love it.

Shadowlands and Sales

I know I haven’t posted a whole lot about Shadowlands yet, but I’ve been leveling, crafting, and selling things in the auction house.

With the nerf to multiboxing I decided to shut down most of my accounts, and then further nerfs in-game (non multiboxing specific) solidified that decision for me. I went from 8 accounts to 1, and I decided there was really no need for me to even have more than 1. This expansion I would like to take a little step back from making gold – and focus on some other achievements that I’ve always wanted to obtain. I’ll still be making gold (it’s sort of built in at this stage) but if I was casual before I consider myself to be VERY casual now. I’m sure it will change with time, I’ve been going through a pretty bad round of depression and I haven’t really found motivation to do too much in or out of game these days.

Some Purchases

Knitpicks recently held a Black Friday sale that they continue to host once a year – and while last year I did not participate in any purchases, this year I could not help myself. I walked away with three skeins of the fur yarn pictured above (I am hoping to knit a teddy bear with it), along with some tweed to knit a sweater, some alpaca blend to knit a cardigan, and some reclaimed wool that I hope turns into another sweater. I realized that I have a LOT of fingering weight yarn, but not much heavier, so I tried to focus on worsted weight for a few quick knits and instant gratification projects. Sometimes it’s just nice to see something completed.

Farming in Firelands

Grab yourself a potion of treasure finding and head to Firelands – make sure not to kill any bosses, and you can probably get close to 10 runs per hour. The vendor items along with the craft materials sold for approximately 7-10k, which isn’t too bad gold per hour when you’re by yourself.

Happy gaming, no matter where you find yourself!
