Newest Addition to the Family

This past Mother’s Day saw us add a new member to the family – Mocha, a Pyrenees 9 week old puppy. She’ll grow to about 100-120lbs and I’m hoping everyone bonds with her and we have a great family dog. With my Son’s autism it’s really important (and sometimes difficult) that we find animals who can mesh with our particular situation. So far it’s going wonderful, and I can’t wait to see what sort of adventures everyone gets into.

Going After Warclaw

Me and my husband have been back playing GW2 – and it feels great. We’ve been working on unlocking the roller beetle, and are on the final steps of a collection required to obtain it. In the meantime, I’ve been working towards my Warclaw mount. I have completed the collection aside from the track reward, so once I’m done a bit more PvP I will hopefully get to unlock that, too.

Finally

I FINALLY managed to get Herta completed – a collection that will let me use up some crafting items that otherwise seem to just stack forever in my bank going unused. It was a great feeling, and I can’t wait to move on to the next collection.

Yarn Storage

One of my favourite things to do in life is to clean and organize. I’m not kidding, nothing gives me as much satisfaction as cleaning up a room in the house. I just don’t get a lot of time to do that without someone needing my attention. I picked up these cube containers from Amazon (please, I don’t need a lecture, Amazon is one of the few places that ships to my location and there is nothing local) and me and my husband spent an afternoon building them and then I organized some yarn. I figure I’ll be more likely to use up pieces in my stash if I can actually SEE them there, and it should be much easier to keep them in mind for projects. Plus it was just nice to get them out of the bin that sits under the table.
