I’ve taken a completely hands off approach to gold making this week because I just haven’t had the time to be in game. Most of the days I didn’t even log in, half of them I didn’t bother putting my stock back up. That means sales have taken a significant slide downwards – but gold is still coming in, even more than my daily goal of roughly 14k.

After playing so hard the previous week (see the 1.6 million gold gain) I decided to step back and just relax. Transmog and pets have been good sellers this week, a few going each day. I didn’t bother restocking any of my supplies, and I haven’t sniped since before 8.3 because it’s just too slow.

While gold is flowing like water for a lot of the bigger goblins, I’m completely happy wading in the kiddie pool. I’ve got over 3.5 million liquid on me, and that’s more than enough for anything I might want to do in the immediate future.

It’s important to take breaks, and I highly encourage it for mental health reasons. Burn out is real, and you shouldn’t feel bad about walking away for a bit. As always, I’ll wander back, it might just take a little bit of time this round. I’ve been playing WoW as my main game of choice for quite a few years now and while I don’t see that changing any time soon, it might have to share my game time with a few other things (like FFXIV, and LotRO).

As always, happy gaming, no matter where you find yourself!
